Baptisms
At our church, we believe that baptism is a command from Jesus to all believers. It is a significant step in the faith journey and a powerful expression of our commitment to Christ.

Biblical Foundation
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus instructs us:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

This command was vital to the early believers, and we hold that it remains relevant and essential for us today.

The Meaning of Baptism
Baptism symbolises our union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. This is expressed through the practice of immersion in water. It serves as an outward sign of what has already occurred spiritually when we place our trust and faith in Jesus Christ. Importantly, baptism does not make you a believer; it publicly declares that you already are one.

For Believers
Baptism is an expression of faith, which is why it is reserved for those who believe. It is important for anyone wishing to be baptised to have come to a personal belief in Jesus Christ and to understand the significance of His sacrifice on the cross for our salvation.
