Christmas
Christmas is a very special time for the church where everything changes slightly for the festive period. The church is decorated throughout with Christmas trees and candles, lights go out the front, and our teaching focuses on the season in our sermons on a Sunday morning and bible studies throughout the week. We also have additional meetings and events, like our Carols at the Punch Bowl, our Carols by Candlelight service, and our youth Fake Christmas Evening. Our midweek meetings are sometimes replaced with Christmas parties, giving time to celebrate as a community.
The big red post box is now in the foyer for Christmas cards for others in the church. The cards will be sorted on 18th of December ready for the next service.
